Instead of going on a company outing, employees of the Ganter Group set to work building various wooden playground equipment for a citizens’ meeting place in Waldkirch. After a lengthy period of preparation and planning, a whole morning was spent in the company’s own workshop sawing, sanding and painting until well into the afternoon. The result is a locomotive, a sandbox, a wooden play kitchen, small toys and a box for their storage. “It was a lot of fun and we hope that the children will enjoy it”, reported Sabine Buselmeier, who coordinated the action on the part of Ganter. In the afternoon, the play equipment was then brought to the site by the crane of a forestry tractor from the town of Waldkirch. The wishes of various groups for playgrounds could not have been fulfilled without the voluntary commitment of the Ganter team. On behalf of the citizens’ meeting, Klaus Laxander therefore thanked the Ganter team once again for the successful initiative.
